These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by Review Scout (“Review Scout,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.
1. Description of Services
Review Scout provides review generation and reputation management services for home service businesses. Our services may include:
Sending review request messages via SMS and/or email
Collecting customer feedback
Facilitating review submissions to third-party platforms (such as Google)
Automating follow-up communications
Review Scout does not create, edit, control, or guarantee third-party reviews.
2. Eligibility (18+ Requirement)
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to use our services. By using Review Scout, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials
Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activities conducted under your account.
4. SMS Messaging Program Terms
A. Program Description
Review Scout may send SMS (text) messages on behalf of its Clients for the purpose of:
Requesting customer reviews
Collecting customer feedback
Sending follow-up review reminders
Confirming service interactions
Customer service-related communications
Message frequency varies depending on the Client’s service usage and customer interactions.
B. Consent to Receive Messages
By providing a mobile phone number to a Client of Review Scout, you consent to receive SMS messages related to review requests and service-related communications.
Clients are responsible for obtaining proper consent from their customers before submitting mobile information to Review Scout.
C. Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying: STOP
After you send “STOP,” you will receive a confirmation message, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from that campaign unless you opt back in.
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by your mobile carrier and your mobile plan. Review Scout does not charge for receiving SMS messages, but standard carrier fees may apply.
E. Carrier Liability Disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and network availability.
F. No Mobile Data Sharing
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Information may be shared with subcontractors or service providers solely for support services (such as SMS delivery platforms, hosting providers, or customer support systems) and only as necessary to provide services.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
Obtain lawful consent before submitting customer contact information
Comply with TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and all applicable privacy and marketing laws
Avoid soliciting fake or misleading reviews
Use the platform only for legitimate business purposes
Clients are solely responsible for their compliance with applicable laws.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Review Scout to:
Generate fake, misleading, or incentivized reviews
Violate third-party platform policies
Harass, spam, or abuse recipients
Interfere with platform security
Engage in unlawful or deceptive activities
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
7. No Affiliation with Google
Review Scout is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google or any other third-party review platform. All third-party services operate under their own terms and policies.
8. Fees and Payment
Fees are disclosed at signup or in a written agreement. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge applicable fees.
Unless otherwise stated:
Payments are non-refundable
Accounts may be suspended for non-payment
9. No Guarantee of Results
Review Scout does not guarantee:
A specific number of reviews
Review approval or publication by Google
Improved rankings or revenue
Customer participation
All outcomes depend on customer engagement and third-party platform policies.
10. Intellectual Property
All software, branding, content, and materials associated with Review Scout are the property of Review Scout and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Review Scout shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Review Scout from claims, damages, or losses arising from:
Your violation of these Terms
Your misuse of the services
Your violation of any law or third-party rights
13. Privacy Policy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect information.
